Special Liner Launched by COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers for Commercial Vehicle Export Called at Port of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.

On April 2, COSCO SHIPPING PENG BO, a 62,000-TEU multi-purpose pulp carrier operated by COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers, called at the RED SEA GATEWAY TERMINAL (RSGT) of the Port of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia at night. It is the first stop of COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers commercial vehicle export transportation service on the Red Sea-Mediterranean route. It is also the first time that the RSGT has been approved by the port authority to receive a non-container ship since its opening.

The cargoes include 27 large engineering vehicles, including 15 cement mixers and 12 truck heads. The 27 large engineering vehicles were loaded on board with V-Rack, a special flat rack independently developed by COSCO SHIPPING Specialized Carriers for oversized and ultra-long large vehicles to meet the different needs of auto factories. The company's commercial vehicle service team is not only responsible for the quality inspection, containerization, loading, and shipping of the cargo after the customer delivers the vehicles to the Port of Taicang, Jiangsu Province, but also for unloading, devanning, and delivery of the vehicles after the arrival of the ship, providing absolute "end-to-end" logistics service.
